- Check your thyroid.
- Eat 4-5 balanced meals through the day.
- Drink enough water.
- Avoid artificial sweeteners.
- Avoid or limit processed food.
- Avoid all fried food.
- Include fish oil or flax oil.
- Be sure you are not constipated.
- Any digestive issues – fix these as digestive issues will slow down fat burning.
- Meds – are you taking any that are causing weight gain or a decreased metabolism?
- Exercise – balance between cardio, weight resistance, strength training, core strength, and flexibility.
- Know your body type – protein, more carb based, balanced.
